Verovatno ste pročitali mnoge tekstove, opcije i načine da otkrijete svoj karijerni potencijal. Međutim, koliko ste zaista od tih stvari uradili ili probali u praksi? Često se dešava da kada pročitamo nešto, kažemo opet isti ili sličan tekst, nema veze to sa nama. Ništa od toga više nije interesantno. Stvaramo litimirajuća uverenja da je kaerijeni potencijal nešto nestvarno što nikada nećemo moći ostvariti. Zbog toga treba vežbati svoju fleksibilnost i disciplinu, kako bismo zaista pronašli i živeli svoj karijerni potencijal.

   

Šta je karijerni potencijal?





Potencijal je možda i najbitnija stvar na svetu, koja nam govori gde ćemo izdominirati, a koje tačno ulice treba da izbegavamo kako bismo živeli jedan istinski srećan život po svojoj meri. Karijerni potencijal je tu da pomogne pojedincima da preuzmu odgovornost za svoju karijeru, stvore posao koji vole, i zarade ono o čemu su oduvek maštali.

Iz dana u dan marljivo radite, ali još uvek osećate da ste podcenjeni na radnom mestu zbog toga što vaš potencijal nije u potpunosti iskorišten. Smatrate da niste dovoljno produktivni? Vreme je da promenite strategiju u načinu rada ili da pronađete svoj pravi karijerni potencijal i cilj.

Testovi nam uglavnom pomažu da na nivou identiteta vidimo koja nam to karijera ili oblik posla najviše odgovara. Identitet, predstavlja unutrašnju suštinu svih naših vidljivih ponašanja i delovanja.





Emocionalna inteligencija odražava sposobnost neke osobe da saoseća sa drugima:

  • identifikovati, proceniti, kontrolisati i izraziti emocije sopstvenim emocijama;
  • opažaju i procenjuju tuđe emocije;
  • koristite emocije za olakšavanje razmišljanja, razumevanje emocionalnih značenja.

2. Hajde da se igramo 360° procene kroz konstruktivan feedback





360° feedback ili procena predstavlja konstruktivnu povratnu informaciju o različitim kompetencijama i osobinama ličnosti pojedinca. Za jednu osobu procena se radi iz više perspektiva: samostalno, direktno nadređenih, direktno podređenih, kolega i drugih…

Pitajte svoje kolege, prijatelje, podređene i nadređene kako vas vide i šta možete bolje.

  • Šta je ono što odmah primete kod vas?
  • Šta je ono što smatraju da je vaša magija?
  • Šta je ono što vas izbaci iz takta i morate da izbegavate?




3. Odredite lifestyle koji vam najviše odgovara





Previše ljudi, mlađih i starijih, dopusti da im se dogodi karijera i životni stil koji nikada nisu želeli. Desi se da se nađemo u zoni komfora, dobijamo redovnu platu i onda prestanemo da mislimo na svoje ambicije. To se desi većini ljudi, koji nisu ostvarili svoje snove. Ostali su radije u svojoj zoni komfora nego da proaktivno čine stvari na osnovu svojih ličnih strasti, veština i interesa.

Drugi donose odluke na osnovu tuđih interesa, poput oca koji želi da njegov sin preuzme porodični posao ili otvoreno sanja o tome da u porodici ima lekara. Nijedan od ovih pristupa verovatno neće dovesti do zadovoljavajuće karijere ili lične sreće za vas.

Ovo su neka pitanja koja vam mogu pomoći da odredite lifestyle koji vam najviše odgovara.

  • Da li radite od kuće ili za firmu?
  • Koliko često putujete?
  • Šta je bilo poslednje što ste naučili?
  • Šta bi želeli da naučite sledeće?
  • Da nemate više novac, da li bi i dalje imali iste prijatelje?
  • Koja je najlepša stvar koja vam se desila u životu?

Vreme za početak je sada. Najvažnija stvar je zacrtati sopstveni put, a ne biti žrtva nepredvidivih okolnosti i tuđih hirova. Ne dozvolite da drugi ljudi budu pobednici o vašem trošku. Lifestyle zavisi od izbora koje sami donosimo i načina na koji odlučujemo šta je važno. Kakav je vaš lifestyle?

Neki je zovu supermoć, neki zona genijalnosti. To je prostor, situacija i aktivnost gde ste svoji i ničiji više. To je vaše mesto na planeti koje vas čini srećnima, drugačijima i punim adrenalina. Ukoliko niste sigurni šta je vaša supermoć, postavite sebi sledeća pitanja:

  • Kada ste se u životu najviše posvetili istinski prema nečemu?
  • Koje talente najviše koristite i koje su vaše snage?
  • Koje ste uloge i aktivnosti voleli i ne voleli u prošlosti?
  • Koji aspekt tih uloga vam se najviše i najmanje svidio?
  • Šta ste najviše voleli da radite kada ste bili mali i da li biste želeli time da se bavite sada?

5. Postavite sebi samo jedno pitanje

Naš nesvesni mozak uvek bolje reaguje u kraćim intervalima i kaže ono što stvarno mislimo. Za razliku od svesnog, u mozgu postoji i nesvesno, koje je značajno po tome, što ono kontroliše ne samo one funkcije u telu koje automatski obavljaju određenu radnju, kao što je otkucaj srca, disanje, krvotok i slično, nego i po tome, što se brine za ispravnost rada i svih ostalih organa u tijelu. Pa kada se na bilo kojem od njih pojavi neki problem, nesvesno odmah poduzima određene radnje za njegovo vraćanje u normalno stanje.

Nisu samo osećaji ono što držimo u nesvesnom, već celi pogledi na situacije, i načini na koje u njima delujemo.Nemojte da preodlučujete niti premišljate previše. Moj najveći fokus je i dalje B2B rad sa IT firmama i marketinškim agencijama iz Amerike i Zapadne Evrope. Radim kao HR i organizacioni konsultant koji im pomaže da kreiraju timove i svoje procese od početka, kada imaju 2-3 ljudi pa sve do 150-200+ zaposlenih . Trenutno zapošljavam 30 ljudi iz Azije i Amerike simultano kreirajući kolaborativne alate za timove koji su distribuirani širom sveta. Nakon dugo vremena počinjem da radim za jednu nemačku IT firmu u Novom Sadu, osećam da mi je potrebno “inside” iskustvo u vezi sa procesima i timovima, kako bi mogla izgraditi sebe u još boljeg karijernog coacha. Radim na coachingu, razvoju timova i karijere svih zaposlenih (oko 50tak zaposlenih). Shvatila sam da puno više volim da imam bar 1 konstantan i siguran posao, jer onda mogu da biram sve druge izazove.

A 3 powerful piece of advices to MOVE you when you are down

There are moments when we feel we run the world. However, there are also some moments when feel down and when we stop enjoying each moment of life.

Just look back, how many times have you felt demotivated?

What do you do in those moments?

We know we are down. We are lost. Disoriented. Moreover, we do not know how to overcome that failure.

People will tell you come on, move on, and just stop thinking about your past. Therefore, here is the first failure of them all. Just freaking ignore other people’s pieces of advice, it’s YOUR life.

Say “Thank you” and switch the topic. Advice could influence you do things you really do not feel like doing. When you are demotivated, you can easily go ahead with things you really do not want. It is good to talk about it, but do ignore, straightforward, other opinions, because no one can decide for you.

Secondly, our brain does not accept any negations. So every time when we say to ourselves “just freaking stop it”, we give a contradictory signal to our brain to start doing those activities.

Can you remember how many times you’ve said to yourself “DO NOT DO IT”, DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT”, “DO NOT …”….

Just replace DO NOT with activity you really want TO DO. Here are a few examples:

  1. I want to stop smoking – I want to live healthier life.
  2. I do not want to be nervous anymore – I want to have a peaceful day at the work.

Thirdly, human brain does not make any differentiation between real actions and internal experience. What does it mean?

Think about any productive situation from your past. You have to be connected to your internal inner voice “I really want it”. Therefore, if you really want to do something in reality, brain can connect your desires, inner voices and internal actions to create experience like you already did it.

Imagine a situation that your greatest desire is to lose weight. The first step would clearly be to define, a POSITIVE connotation out of it. Secondly, create a long-term goal out of it. (I will write about this in my next blog, so stay tuned :)).

You want to be healthier and to feel better by exercising three times per week?

But let’s imagine for a second, what it really looks like.

Who are you with 10 pounds less? What do you see? How do you behave?  What do you do? Where are you?  What do you hear? How do you feel?

These questions are meant to create an internal experience that YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS. So that your brain knows you are capable of doing it. Please take 15 minutes to think about it. Write down your questions. Go through them a few times. Read them aloud every day for the following 21 days.

5 great tips to start your day

In this world, there are more than 7 billiard people. Facebook recently announced almost 2 billiards monthly active users. Therefore, there are so many different people, decisions, values, commitments and memories that we deal with every day.

Some of us want to oversleep early mornings but are somehow forced to start an early day. On the other hand, most of us just get used to it after some time.

So what is the secret about it? When should your day actually start? And what to do in order to be productive, happy and feel great whole the day?

First of all, we cannot know in advance what can happen at work, on our way to work, or with anything else that is not directly related to us. So many people, occasions and so much energy exists around us. But here is the great list what you can actually do, that is in your control:

1.       Whenever you wake up, visualize your perfect day and the best possible outcome. Now trust me, do it once more. Now I would kindly ask you to visualize your day with the even better outcome than the one before. So what is the difference? You see, it can be always better.

2.      What do you like most out of the morning? Is it coffee, jog, breakfast or just additional sleep? Just do it.

3.      Now when you visualize your perfect day and have positive energy, do something extra. What can increase your level of energy: small dance, good song, one cupcake? Threat every morning as your special day.

4.      Now when you are at the door thinking about another annoying day, think again about things which will make you happy that day : is that small talk with a friend, great interview, long expected review with director, small meeting, or just a gossip time with friends.

5.      You are closing the door. Try thinking about your role model or metaphor that suits you best. IT can be a quote, song, person, anything. From Oprah through Messi and Ronaldo to cartoon or real role models. Just repeat to yourself: ‘I can do it. I have every possible resource and it’s on me.’

Once upon a time, an old man traveling the world, settles in a small village to take some rest. Wandering around the village, he noticed a small cemetery with the oddly-shaped gravestones. He started reading the inscriptions carved into graves. Suddenly, he got shocked and started crying. They were all kids. How could so many kids die? Either you Live, love, travel and smile or you do not?

Exactly two years ago I left Europe in order to become best version of myself. I went to India. At that point of time, no one understood why the hell from all the lovely places on this earth, I want to go to India. They told me, it is very dusty, percent of criminal is increasing and there is not anything interesting over there. I never react on  comments or advises of that kind of people.

First of all, when I want something I visualize good future “present”. I knew it wont be easy, but I was looking for damn adventure.

And India showed me that world does not need to be white black, it can have amazing colors.

India taught me  incredible things. There were days when I struggle how to cross street, understand habits, words and used metaphors. On other hand, that same days taught me how to be brave, independent and strong. Not just strong, but VERY STRONG.

I got exactly what I was looking for. I could not expect what a new day will bring me and how I will survive it. I just knew I will. Now I remember a lot of stress followed with a lot of SMILE. And smile is what it counts. I have visited many cities and saw amazing landscapes. But I did not want that kind of adventure, I was looking for more. I was striving for culture, religion and most of everything people. Indian people taught me how powerful is our soul. They thought me most incredible things, such as how is easy to smile and how little we need in order to be happy. Have you ever taught about small things which made you happy?

India make me to be bold and extend my limits up to impossible. 365 days. 365 breaths of happiness. 365 days of life. 365 days of adventure.

Emotions. Gracious. Eminence. People.

They really thought me so much, but as in the every fairy-tail something bad happened before ending. Suddenly due to immigration service and not so strong support of my company I was informed I have 5 days to leave country.

They did not understand. My sudden adventure was my life. How I can leave now? I was stressful, nervous, scammed.

It is that day, hour and second. I still remember. Airport. Chennai. Swetha. Kadambari. Uday. Driving me to my last stop. Following me to that last points. I am still emotional and I remember each and every second. My team was at the airport. My team. At one point I like the feeling because I knew they came here because they cared.

Even at the beginning  that small piece of happiness become night mare as I had to leave. Every day then and now I wake up thinking about that people and my Indian life. It was not fair. It was not right. It was not supposed to happened…..

Crashed. And slammed. I open door of my hometown in Serbia. I did not know where am I. All people around me are strangers. I am a tourist. Right away, I am planning my next adventure “Latin America”. Even tough I am ready immediately to go ,my health condition did not let me. Time was passing by and I was trying to find best solution…

After few weeks I met someone. Someone become important person. Than become even more important. Months were passing by and I like HIM more, but yet did not used to mentality of people surrounding me. I think people over here changed. I do not know if it was better of worst. But at that point of time I did not care.

Now I know. All that stressful situations and integrity with environment throw me here because of HIM.

I have decided to stay here. Now I live a bit different adventure.

LOVE adventure. I never met someone who loved me so much from the first moment and make every moment remarkable for me. Someone who will quite everything for me and because of me.

Now. I know. I am lucky one. But at that point of time looking for adventure, obviously India was amazing choice as learn me incredible things. But that miserable situation of not being possible to stay in Chennai brought me here to him. And now I know it was supposed to be like that.

I am living lovely adventure and every day creating new one.

But now, my adventures are not only mine, but OURS. I know I live the adventure of my life. I am happy and striving every day to become best version of myself. But as well aware that nothing would happen if I did not believe that impossible is nothing.

Today I thankful to Alexandar sharing with me lovely year and many more to come.

Live the life

Is it really possible to have smart, happy and satisfying lifestyle in every aspect of our lives?

How do we know we are doing what we want since we were kids?

In which moment exactly shall we change our goals and when shall we perceive our biggest wishes and desires?

They say: “Go strong or go home”. Is it really like this in reality? Or, is reality just the matter of our current state of mind?

However, this life is all about CREATING OUR OWN PATH. But how can we do that?

We shall learn how to recover of an unsatisfying experience, failure or fear. We have to learn how to overcome our biggest fears and learn how to be superheroes of our own lives.

How do we get stuck in one place?

We do something. We fail. We fail. We get stressed. We get dissociated. We start our new addiction. It can be internet, food or anything else. But it is something we do not have control over and we feel lost. Addiction takes us to the feeling of grumpiness. We become lonely, we do not care about anyone else and we make other people miserable. And finally we PAUSE. What kind of pause is that?

It is a pause in ALL YOUR DESIRES. DREAMS. PROGRESSES. Then we lose a joy of life.

The fear of failure and fear of not being satisfied with our current decisions and goals make us have the fear of… LIVING THE LIFE.

And then we stop caring about dreams and goals. We stop DREAMING.

How could we get back to the right trail?

  1. Let the time do the math, controlling it precisely
  2. Reflect on your past
  3. Find a passionate thing do start perceiving it
  4. Start reading about interesting topics and learn new stuff
  5. Create new passionate goals
  6. Practice yoga

It has already happened. Or you will be in the situation where you have to deliver a certain speech, a presentation or a simple meeting.

 

In most of the cases, 80% of people think : “Why me? Why not anyone else?. “

They would say loudly “I cannot, I do not have time now, I am sorry…’

Is that really true? You do not want to do it or you are too scared and just want to skip it?

So, for all of you who are in a blank spot and looking for the perfect solution, here are 10 interesting and innovative solutions:

1.     Analyze the topic and sentences in your head, and remember specifically important key notes – KEEP IT PASSIONATE, CONFIDENT and SHORT

2.     Make a good eye contact in order to understand when is time for SWITCH PHASE – change your voice, ask a question, implement energizer or simply break

3.     Use switch mode – PLAY with IT and pay attention to the right points

4.     Walk around – but never turn back to your audience or do strange body movements

5.     Answer on questions without negation and use famous word AND instead of BUT

6.     Learn to BREATH deeply – practice slower and faster speech

7.     Skip reading slides and apologizing if not really necessary

8.     Adjust your story to your audience , become STORY TELLER and affiliate with audience

9.     PRACTICE as much as you can, anywhere, in front of anyone

10.  MAKE IT FUN – implement various models: games, stories, pictures, videos.

Let’s break up

We are human beings.

It is in our nature to get stressed. Every month. Every Day. Sometimes even a few times a day. It is the unbeatable moment. Usually, we do not expect that moment.

We do not know that particular person, situation or relationship that will make us feel down, stressed or nervous.Sometimes we can avoid a particular moment, but normally we have to stood up and confront it or simply to accept it. But, how do we get over it?

There is a possibility of the break-up with stress! So here is my short, awesome and unique list you can use every day in order to get rid of stress:)

1. Rethink once what went wrong. Write down how you could avoid thstress2is situation and go through your single act. Even if you need to rethink it 5 or 10 times, it is fine, as long as you realize that you’re over with that feeling!
2. Pinch your eyebrows
3. Smile like a crazy one, in deed laugh as the crazy one. It really helps
4. Promise to yourself that you won’t be upset again because of that particular reason and write it down
5. Play your favorite song LOUDLYYYY
6. Start working, drawing or doing anything else creative
7. Start exercising, take a walk, do some yoga or lift weights
8. Take a coffee, your favorite smoothie or treat yourself with a cheat meal
9. Challenge yourself with new opportunities, books or cafés
10. Change a few things from your static life and go out of your comfort zone
So let’s do that final break up!
